We are pleased to announce that Dr. John Deasy has been named the new president of the Bezos Family Foundation. Jackie and Mike Bezos, co-founders of the Bezos Family Foundation who have served more than 20 years as president and vice-president, will transition to co-chairs of the Board of Directors.

Deasy brings more than 40 years of experience in public education and public service to the role, including leading K-12 education systems and advising education leaders.

Most recently, John served as a partner at Cambiar Education and was a partner and co-founder of Rethinc.
