M. Krishnan Nair (November 2, 1917 – May 10, 2001) was a film director associated with Malayalam in the golden era of 1960s and 1970s.

He has also given break to many leading and supporting actors to big screen, apart from other cine artists.

His blockbuster Kuttipatalam in 1964 marked the career beginning of actress Philomina while Aniyathi in 1955 marked the debut of actress Kottayam Shanta. He has directed over 100 Malayalam films, apart from four Tamil films starring M.

G. Ramachandran, perhaps the only Malayali director to do four films with MGR. In 1971 he directed blockbuster 'Rickshawkaran' which gave National award to MGR for best actor. Famous film directors like Hariharan and Bharathiraja have worked under him as assistants.
