Born into an illustrious family of actors, Radha Ravi is his uncle and Raadhika Sarathkumar is his aunt. As a television actor he is best known for the portrayal of a negative character in the popular television series – Chithi.

His popular play Raktha Kaneer was staged for the first time by his grandfather in 1948 and has been continuously played by his family members for 66 long years till 2016 – indeed a unique achievement.

Made his acting debut with Palaivanathil Pattampoochi (1988), he has stayed in the industry for about three decades, portraying the varying roles of villain, supporting and comic roles.
