Sneha Shankar is an Indian playback singer and live performer. She has sung for many Bollywood movies, including Hanuman: Da' Damdaar, and Chup: Revenge of the Artist.

Early life

Sneha Shankar is the daughter of singer and music director Ram Shankar,^[1] and granddaughter of Shankar of the Sufi singers duo Shankar-Shambhu.^[2] At the age of six she appeared in a TV show MTV Sound Trippin on MTV India.^{[citation needed]}

Career

Shankar started her career and participated in various singing reality shows including The Superstar Singer' & 'Indian Idol - Season 15'.^[3]

In 2019 she sang for the Hindi version of a Hollywood movie The Lion King.^[4]

She has worked with various music composers including Himesh Reshammiya, Sneha Khanwalkar, Amit Trivedi, and Jeet Gannguli.^{[citation needed]}
